Midwest Seasons 2012

Winter Yellow Barn and Cave Point Dawn will be featured in the exhibition Midwest Seasons 2012.

Midwest Seasons 2012 will be on display from January 13 through March 10, 2012 at the Center for Visual Arts in Wausau, Wisconsin. This annual juried competition showcases entries from American and occasionally international artists and celebrates the beauty and power of the Midwest seasons.

NEW Wisconsin Round Barns Poster

Photographer Richard Wunsch has produced a poster featuring Wisconsin round barns.

The period from 1880 to 1920 was the peak of round barn construction. There were once about 180 round barns in Wisconsin. This number dwindled to 113 by 2000 and continues to decline.

The 16 x 22-inch poster features ten of the finest remaining examples of Wisconsin round barns. It can be purchased from the photographer or on-line at WisconsinMade.com. They are also available from Janke Book Store in downtown Wausau. The price is $15 + shipping & handling.

67th Art Annual

Wood County Round Barn by photographer Richard Wunsch will be featured in the 67th Art Annual exhibition.

This annual, juried competition will be on display from November 5, 2011 through February 12, 2012 at the Neville Public Museum. The Museum is located at 210 Museum Place, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

United FCS Purchase

Wood County Round Barn, Rib Falls Church Sunrise and Grazing the Hillside by photographer Richard Wunsch have recently been purchased by United FCS for permanent display in their new corporate offices in Willmar, MN.

United FCS is a farmer-owned financial services cooperative serving agricultural producers and agri-business in west central Minnesota and north central Wisconsin including an office in Wausau.
