Alive in the Arts 2013 Exhibition

Home Delivery and Passing Storm Round Barn by photographer Richard Wunsch are featured in the exhibition Alive in the Arts 2013.

Home Delivery, an infrared image of an abandoned milk truck from a Wausau dairy, recalls a bygone era.

Passing Storm Round Barn has it all: a dark and ominous sky, passing summer storm, and resulting rainbow over a neighboring farm. These elements create a dramatic and beautiful Wisconsin scene.

Alive in the Arts is on view from June 7 through August 2, 2013 at Gallery 110 North in The Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E. Mill Street, Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Marshfield Art Fair

I'll be at the Marshfield Art Fair, Sunday May 12. This Mother's Day tradition is held at the Marshfield High School Field House, 1401 E. Becker Road, Marshfield, Wisconsin; 10 am - 4:30 pm.

Wisconsin Round Barns Poster

Photographer Richard Wunsch has produced a poster featuring Wisconsin round barns.

The period from 1880 to 1920 was the peak of round barn construction. There were once about 180 round barns in Wisconsin. This number dwindled to 113 by 2000 and continues to decline.
