Alive in the Arts 2024

For the seventeenth consecutive year, one of my photographs has been accepted for Alive in the Arts, a juried exhibition presented by the Plymouth Arts Center in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The 2024 Alive in the Arts exhibition is on view from May 3 through August 2.

My photograph, Ridge Runner Farm, was taken near Bangor, in Wisconsin's Driftless Region. The Driftless is a unique geographical area made up of winding roads through bluffs and down to valleys below. The region is a trip back in time and one of my favorite places to photograph.

37th Northern National Art Competition

Barn in Golden Field has been selected for inclusion in the 37th Annual Northern National Art Competition. It is one of 133 artworks chosen by the juror from over 700 submitted from all over the United States.

I plan to attend the Opening Reception on June 13, from 5-7 pm. Please stop in to view the exhibition and say hello, if you are in the area.

The exhibition will be on view from June 13 through July 27, 2024, at the Nicolet College Art Gallery in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

15th Annual Fran Achen Juried Photography Exhibition

Driftless Overlook is one of three photographs selected for the 15th Annual Fran Achen Juried Photography Exhibition 2024. The exhibition also includes my photographs Double Rainbow and Tunnelville Cliffs Barn.

The exhibition is on view July 5-28, 2024, at the Whitewater Arts Alliance in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Photography 2024

Four of my photographs, including Bad Axe River Barn, have been selected for Wisconsin Photography 2024. Barn in Golden Field, Lake Michigan Caves and Summer Hail were selected from among 986 submitted photographs.

Bad Axe River Barn was captured on an early fall morning in the Wisconsin Driftless Region, southwest of Viroqua.

The exhibition is on view August 28 through November 23, 2024, at the Racine Art Museum's Wustum Museum in Racine, Wisconsin.
